Two late goals saw Good Counsel, New Ross, snatch victory from Dublin Colleges in the Leinster Colleges A senior hurling championship at New Ross. Dublin Colleges led 0-3 to 0-2 at the interval, but with Mark Phelan and Richard Gaul picking off points, Good Counsel edged in front early in the second half.
Things started to go wrong for the visitors 10 minutes from the end when Tom Cooper scrambled a loose ball to the net from close range. Good Counsel secured victory from a long Gaul lob with two minutes remaining.
