Leinster SH A/ Good Counsel 2-10 St Brendan's CS 1-12: Good Counsel College, New Ross, held off a late surge from St Brendan's CS of Birr to win by a single point at Thomastown.

Good Counsel led 2-6 to 1-7 at the break, thanks to two goals from Tom Fitzharris, and by 2-10 to 1-8 on 45 minutes before the Birr side's late fightback.
