Munster MFC Semi-finals/Cork 1-9 Tipperary 0-5:A 38th-minute goal from substitute Con Dunne sent Cork on their way to the Munster minor football final when they defeated Tipperary at Kilmallock.
The Premier County had played wind assisted in the first half and led at the break by 0-4 to 0-2. However, eight first-half wides cost them dearly and the Cork lads, upon the turnaround, set about reducing the deficit.
Dunne, who came on at half-time, was on hand to steer the ball into the Tipperary net for the crucial score of the game - the goal sent Cork into a 1-3 to 0-4 lead. His half-time substitute colleague Owen Buckley also chipped in with two points to kill off the Tipperary dream of reaching the decider.
It took Tipperary until the 32nd minute of the second half to register a score through Conor Sweeney.
