Christian Brothers College, Cork, overcame probably the most difficult hurdle on their way to a four-in-a-row in the Munster Schools' Senior Cup at Musgrave Park yesterday when they beat old rivals Presentation College.
Substitute Joe Cullen, on for the injured Mark McSorley early in the second half, quickly made his mark with a try. The sides had finished level 8-8 at the interval with Colin Murphy scoring a try for Christians and Mark Quaid adding a penalty and conversion against a try from Fergus Gateley and a penalty and conversion from Peter O'Brien.
The second half started with a converted try from Simon O'Mahony, but while O'Brien put Pres back to within four points, Cullen's try was crucial.
