Enniskillen Gaels ... 0-12 St Gall's ... 2-4: Enniskillen produced a storming second-half display at Brewster Park to overhaul the Antrim champions St Gall's who led by seven points, 2-3 to 0-2 a minute into the second half.
Second-half substitute Raymond Curran brought the sides level (2-4 to 0-10) four minutes from time and scored another point to give Enniskillen the lead for the first time. The visitors were the dominant force in the first half and should have been further in front than their 1-3 to 0-2 interval lead. Their goal arrived in the third minute from Kevin Niblock.
Despite their supremacy, however, particularly at midfield, St Gall's missed chances from play and from frees. Enniskillen had to wait until the 16th minute for their first score, a 45 from man-of-the-match Tom Brewster.
Enniskillen were given no time to settle before being rocked by St Gall's second goal, which came straight from a throw-in for the restart. A mistake by a defender provided Ciarán McGourty with the chance, which he duly took.
Spurred on by a huge home support Enniskillen brought the game to St Gall's and four unanswered points, including one from Paul Brewster, brought them back into the game. As the half wore on St Gall's lost their shape; Enniskillen, on the other hand, had victory on their minds and the introduction of Curran to the forward line provided just that.
