O'Byrne Cup SF/Meath 2-11 UCD 0-15:Two late points from Peter Curran gave Meath a hard earned O'Byrne Cup victory over UCD in Navan last night.
Meath newcomer Niall Farrell netted the first goal following a pass from another debutant, Jamie Queeney, after 14 minutes.
Meath led by two points (1-7 to 0-8) at the break and increased the advantage to five in the 44th minute when Graham Reilly grabbed the second goal.
With John O'Loughlin scoring five points from midfield UCD levelled and extra time loomed, but Curran had the final say.
