Gordon D'Arcy, who was taken off on a stretcher with groin damage after scoring a try at Lansdowne Road on Saturday, is doubtful for Ireland's forthcoming internationals against South Africa, the USA and Argentina at the same venue.
D'Arcy could be out for up to eight weeks and could also miss Leinster's European Cup matches against Bourgoin at home and away in December.
The Leinster centre will undergo a medical examination this morning to reveal the extent of the damage. The injury is in the same area he suffered a similar problem on Ireland's summer tour to South Africa. He joined the Irish squad last night but will undergo a scan today.
Leinster prop Emmet Byrne was also injured in the Bath game and was replaced by Ricky Nebbett at half-time after appearing to over-extend his right shoulder at a ruck. He left the ground with his arm in a sling and he too will seek further medical attention today to ascertain the damage.
Meanwhile, Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan has added five players to the squad for the November internationals - Roger Wilson (Ulster), Eric Miller (Leinster), Victor Costello (Leinster), John Kelly (Munster) and Gavin Duffy (Harlequins).
