LIAM DAISH snatched a late winner against Norwich at St Andrews last night to send 10 man Birmingham into an English League Cup semi final with Leeds United.

The Republic of Ireland defender and Birmingham captain smashed home a header with just 90 seconds left of an enthralling quarter final replay.

Jan Molby looked to have sent the tie into extra time when the former Denmark midfielder, on loan from Liverpool, equalised with a superb shot 12 minutes from time.

Substitute Jason Bowen had given Birmingham the lead early in the second half, but Barry Fry's men were forced to battle when Gary Poole was sent off with 22 minutes left after a second bookable offence.
