WALES have recalled out half Jonathan Davies to their 26 man squad for the Test match against Australia at Cardiff Arms Park on December 1st.
Davies (34) last played for Wales against Romania in 1988 before embarking on a successful rugby league career with Widnes, Warrington and Great Britain.
Davies won 27 Welsh Rugby Union caps, played 14 times for the Welsh Rugby League side and made a further 13 Great Britain appearances.
He joined Cardiff from Warrington but has taken time to re settle in the union game, although the Wales coach, Kevin Bowring, says the number 10 has been closely watched.
"Jonathan has started to string some notable performances together, playing with control and impressive decision making," said Bowring.
However there is no place for another ex rugby league professional, the Richmond number eight Scott Quinnell, who has been involved in a protracted pay dispute with the Welsh Rugby Union.
