John Gosden's Day Flight is one of 17 runners declared for the Prix du Jockey-Club at Chantilly tomorrow.

Day Flight was added to the field for the French Classic yesterday following a hugely impressive 20-length win in the Michael Seely Memorial Glasgow Stakes at York last month.

Mick Channon runs totesport Dante Stakes fourth Top Seed and he will start from stall five under Ted Durcan, while Marcus Tregoning's Manyana, winner of the Predominate Stakes, will start from stall 16 with Martin Dwyer in the plate.

Dermot Weld's Relaxed Gesture was an unexpected withdrawal at yesterday's final declaration stage, leaving just the Aidan O'Brien-trained Five Dynasties to represent Ireland.

The likely favourite for the race is the David Smaga-trained Voix du Nord, who has been drawn in stall four.

Voix du Nord, described as an "iron horse" by his jockey Dominique Boeuf, overcame a training setback to notch up a nose verdict over the ill-fated Millemix in the Prix Lupin last time.

Frankie Dettori will be on the Carlos Laffon-Parias-trained Delfos, who was also supplemented for the race.
