SCHOOLGIRLS B FOOTBALL FINAL Coláiste Íosagáin 2-9 Holy Rosary College 1-10:A STRONG finish from Coláiste Íosagáin, Stillorgan, helped them to take the B title at Johnstown on Saturday.
Holy Cross led 1-3 to 0-4 after 13 minutes following a lobbed goal from Michelle Burke, but by half-time it was level at 1-5 each as Éabha Ruitléis pounced for Íosagáin. When Niamh Ní Chiléan added 1-1, they led by 2-6 to 1-5, but four in a row from Holy Rosary levelled matters before Clár De Siún’s two late points.
