RACING: With the Irish and English St Legers clashing on Saturday, it is not surprising that all but one of the six Irish acceptors for the Doncaster classic are also engaged in the Curragh version.
Aidan O'Brien can pick between Milan, Mediterranean, Saddler's Creek and Life Match for Doncaster, with John Oxx's Pugin and the Dermot Weld-trained Vinnie Roe other possibles.
No decision will be made until at least today about which of Aidan O'Brien's raiding party will travel.
A decision will be made later in the week over which race Pugin goes for. The stable reports preparations are "going fine" for his next attempt, following his fourth to Galileo in the Irish Derby and second behind Vinnie Roe in a Listed race, also at the Curragh.
Meanwhile, Godolphin - on the crest of a wave after the successes of Fantastic Light over O'Brien's Galileo at Leopardstown on Saturday and Slickly at Longchamp on Sunday - are represented at Doncaster by Alunissage, who won a maiden race at Lingfield by 15 lengths.

Motorsport events held at private venues will not be affected by this decision and will continue as before.
CYCLING: Ciaran Power turned in another solid performance on yesterday's fifth stage of the Tour de l'Avenir in France. The Irish rider was involved in a breakaway attempt 53 kilometres into the 198km race to Ancerville, and although this move was reeled in nine kilometres later, he was prominent again towards the end of the stage and placed 11th.
Power crossed the line as part of the main bunch, one minute and 26 seconds behind stage winner and new overall leader Juan Miguel Cuenca. The Waterford man is now 39th overall,
MOTORSPORT: Tomas Enge will become the first Czech driver to compete in a Formula One race in Italy on Sunday after being confirmed yesterday as the replacement for Luciano Burti. The Prost driver is recovering from the head injuries he suffered in the Belgian grand prix.
