Deerpark scored a notable double in the Dublin Team Trophy at Edmondstown on Sunday. Their team of Eddie Burns (9), John Crawford (10), Paul Behan (11) and Michael Creevy (12) won the overall competition with a score of 305 to pip Westmanstown by two, with Hazelgrove two shots further adrift. Deerpark's club captain, Jimmy Tully, who plays off four, also won the club captain's competition run in conjunction with the team trophy. He had 17 points for the nine holes in the wind and rain.
