Ryan Mellon scored UUC's goal after 24 minutes, but three scores from DJ Fleming (two) and Stephen O'Sullivan meant Cork were only a point behind, 0-4 to 1-2, at half-time. The visitors equalised through Walsh a minute after the restart, and although SeáPaul O'Hagan quickly put Coleraine ahead, Cork pulled away.
