As expected, Paddy Bradley has not been named in the Derry team to take on Antrim in Sunday's Ulster football championship. Bradley had his 12-week suspension lifted by the Disputes Resolution Authority last Tuesday and is free to play but hasn't trained with the panel in recent weeks and isn't listed among the replacements.
The DRA decision referred the matter back to Derry for re-hearing. According to county PRO Gerry Donnelly, no new date has been fixed for the case, relating to abuse of a match official.
If the suspension is re-imposed it will still expire in time for the Ulster final should Derry progress that far.
Meanwhile, Louth manager Eamonn McEneaney has decided to go with an unchanged side for Sunday's curtain-raiser at Croke Park, the second replay with Mick O'Dwyer's Wicklow. This is the longest running football championship saga in the province since Kildare and Meath met in the Leinster semi-finals 10 years before Meath won after the third match.
O'Dwyer has also selected an unchanged team for the match. Brendan Ó hAnnaidh, who is still struggling with an injury he picked up in the first match, is again left on the bench. Corner forward Tommy Gill was sent off in last Sunday's first replay, but is eligible to play as he received two yellow cards.
Tipperary feature five debutants for Sunday's Munster football semi-final against Cork at Thurles: Mark O'Brien, right corner back, wing back Edward Connolly, centrefielder Paul Johnston and forwards Willie Wallace and under-21 Barry Grogan.
There had been doubts about the fitness of O'Brien, Michael Phelan and former All Star Declan Browne, but the trio have been included in manager John Owens's selection.
