Aidan O'Brien yesterday nominated his dual Irish Classic winner, Desert King, a likely starter for tomorrow's Dubai Champion Stakes at Newmarket.

"It looks as though Desert King will be running in the Champion Stakes on Saturday," explained O'Brien. "If he runs, it's not definite yet, Kieren Fallon will ride."

The Breeders' Cup Turf in America next month is the other main end of season target.

Darryll Holland has been booked by O'Brien for Hopping Higgins, his representative in tomorrow's valuable Comcast Teesside Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar.
