Kilmoyley ended a 30-year wait in a dramatic final played in atrocious conditions at the Austin Stack Park Tralee. They beat champions, Ballyheigue, with an injury-time winner.

Kilmoyley, with four points from Shane Brick and a goal from his brother, Billy, led 1-6 to 0-2 at half-time.

However, Ballyheigue were to display their pedigree with a tremendous second-half fightback. Michael Slattery equalised and it looked as if the sides would meet again, but Ollie Diggins struck the winning point in the fourth minute of injury time.
