DIT 2-18 Wexford 0-4:PLAYING ALL the quality football, DIT gave a polished display as they completely outclassed a poor Wexford outfit at Enniscorthy yesterday.
DIT controlled midfield through the fine football of Ciarán Reddin and Gearóid McKiernan, while, in attack, Aidan O’Shea, along with Diarmuid Connolly and Alan Freeman, dismantled the home defence.
Connolly’s goal after nine minutes helped ease DIT into a 1-10 to 0-2 interval lead. Sub Cathal McHugh’s splendid goal made it 2-13 to 0-2 after 53 minutes.
