Tony Dobbin has been booked to ride ante-post favourite Moral Support in the Coral Eurobet Welsh National on Wednesday. The plum ride became available when Noel Fehily - who has ridden the Charlie Mann-trained gelding to all his four victories this season - broke his right collarbone in a fall at Ludlow on Thursday.
"It's great news - I'm over the moon," said Dobbin. The running order has been revised for Chepstow's Welsh National.
The Chepstow Championship Stakes Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race was due to take place on the Flat course at 2.50 but that is now unraceable.
As a result the race will be run on the hurdles course at 3.50 with the remaining races brought forward.
A high-class field of 15 horses has been entered for the Grade One Challow Hurdle at Newbury next Friday.
They are headed by the Francois Doumen-trained Ben Ewar, an impressive winner at Ascot on his hurdling debut last Saturday.
Among his possible rivals is the Paul Nicholls-trained Valley Henry, an impressive winner of his two starts over hurdles this season at Chepstow and Wincanton.
Also among the entries are Razer Blade, who found St Pirran too strong in a hot novice hurdle at Cheltenham last time, and the Mark Pitman-trained duo Run For Paddy and Sheer Genius.
Hors La Loi's running and riding at Newcastle last month has been referred to the disciplinary committee of the Jockey Club. Earlier this month the Doncaster stewards held an inquiry into the apparent improvement in form of the Ian Williams-trained four-year-old after he won a conditional jockeys' handicap hurdle.
On his previous start Hors La Loi had finished fourth at Newcastle in November when ridden by Rupert Wakley.
Kieren Fallon, who is set to return to competitive action in Dubai next week after missing much of last season through injury, has been installed as 4 to 7 favourite to regain the British jockeys championship title next year.
