Women's Football:All-Ireland club champions Donaghmoyne are out of this year's competition after a surprise 2-5 to 0-8 defeat to Tyrone's Errigal Ciarán in yesterday's Ulster senior football final at Clones.
The Monaghan side sprinted into a 0-4 to 0-0 lead, but from then on Errigal proved the hungrier side. Player of the match Lycrecia Quinn notched a first-half goal from a penalty and Sarah Connolly weighed in with 1-5, her 48th-minute goal sealing Donaghmoyne's fate.
Errigal led 1-4 to 0-5 at half-time and never faltered as they took their first Ulster title and denied Donaghmoyne their fourth in-a-row.
In the Leinster final, Ballyboden St Enda's completed their four in-a-row with a 2-13 to 0-10 win over Laois side Timahoe at Athy.
However, Ballyboden trailed 0-7 to 0-2 at half-time after having two players sin-binned.
Cora Staunton hit 1-9 as Mayo's Carnacon, last year's All-Ireland finalists, beat home side Corofin 1-11 to 1-6 in the Connacht final, a repeat of last year's outcome.
