Clifden CS3 Marist, Athlone 10:KILLIAN DONNELLY was the Marist hero when he struck for a match-winning try in injury-time at Monastery Field, Clifden, to send the Athlone side into the semi-finals of the Connacht Senior Cup yesterday.

Marist went ahead eight minutes before the interval when Kevin Dunne slotted a penalty.

Clifden got back on level terms when outhalf Shane Sweeney landed a penalty after 52 minutes.

Donnelly pushed over for the decisive try before Dunne added the conversion to set up a meeting with holders Coláiste Iognáid in a repeat of last year’s final.
