Hurling / Walsh Cup / Quarter-finals / Wexford 4-18 Dublin 0-14: Stephen Doyle hit 2-8 for Wexford in yesterday's quarter-final at Parnell Park.

Up until the 42nd minute, when David Curtin had posted his sixth free, things had been going well for Dublin as Wexford relied mainly on scores from placed ball.

Having led 0-11 to 0-9 at the break, Dublin added two more scores through Tomás McGrane and Kevin Flynn. Curtin landed a free to extend the gap to five points.

Wexford's Rory Jacob netted their first goal on 43 minutes and two frees from Doyle levelled matters.

Wexford pulled away with points from Jacob, Stephen Nolan and Des Mythen and Jacob drove past goalkeeper Gary Maguire with eight minutes remaining.
