Irish under-15 international John Paul Kelly was instrumental in their victory with goals after 27 and 80 minutes, while Joseph O'Brien had doubled their lead in the 32nd minute, before Brain Clarke halved the deficit five minutes into the second half.
Despite some constant Palmerstown second-half pressure, Drimnagh managed to hold out and Kelly's second in stoppage time gave them the cup.

The FAIS side is just 90 minutes away from retaining their Celtic Cup title tonight when they face Northern Ireland at Century Homes Park, Monaghan (kick-off at 7 p.m.) There is concern over Kevin Walsh's fitness after he took a knock in last week's win over Wales and he could be a major doubt. Willie Doyle is expected to be fit.
