A NEAR FULL STRENGTH Dublin team played out an energetic draw with Armagh in a senior football challenge at Santry Avenue last night.

In a tough game, Dublin's Charlie Redmond top scored with eight points, six of which came from frees. Jason Sherlock chipped in with 1-1, while wing forward Jim Gavin contributed three points from play. Armagh's full forward line proved a real threat, contributing nine points of the Ulster team's total.

The game's closing minutes provided some genuine drama as Dublin pegged back a three point deficit, Redmond hitting the equalising point.
