Liverpool's Shea Neary will be back fighting next month.
Neary will make the delayed fifth defence of his WBU lightwelterweight title against America's Mike Griffith at the National Stadium, Dublin, on June 19th.
The bout was originally due to take place on April 17th, but Neary had to withdraw after injuring a hand in training.
Neary's promoter John Hyland said: "In seven years Griffith has had 26 fights and been stopped only once, by former IBF champion Rafael Ruelas.
"Shea sees this fight as a stepping stone to the American market with a strong possibility of a fight in the near future with the popular Arturo Gatti, so he knows he cannot afford to take any chances with Griffith."
The fight will be shown live on ITV as the commercial network continue to make their boxing comeback, with Neary as the centrepiece of the operation.
More than 3.5 million viewers watched Neary's last victory against Juan Carlos Villarreal.
