DUBLIN maintained their unbeaten run with a comprehensive 13 point win at Ruislip over a London team that ran out of steam and ideas in the closing 10 minutes, the visitors notching 1-5 in this period.

With only five points separating the teams at the interval - 0-10 to 1-2 - home supporters looked forward to a close finish considering that London had the ad vantage of a moderate second half breeze.

A well taken goal by full forward Declan Spellman 12 minutes into the second half revived their hopes but this score merely galvnized the visitors and within four minutes half forward Stephen Perkins, who had an excellent game throughout, took advantage of a defensive lapse to send the ball past goalkeeper Seamus Boland. This score ended the game as a contest. A feature of the game was the outstanding interplay between Dublin forwards Stephen Perkins, Mick Morrissey and Conor McCann who between them accounted for 2-8 of the winning total.
