Leinster JFC Round-upTwo second-half goals sealed victory for Dublin, 2-12 to 2-7, at Parnell Park last night against Wexford. Wexford built up a 0-3 to 0-1 lead before Dublin scored six unanswered points to establish a 0-11 to 0-5 lead at half-time.
Wexford substitute Paddy Byrne goaled 15 seconds after the restart before Dublin landed two quick goals from Eoin Kinsella (from a penalty) and Graham Cullen. Wexford finished with a goal from Thomas Furlong.
Holders Meath advanced to the last four with a 0-12 to 0-7 win over Kildare at Navan's Páirc Tailteann. Meath led by 0-7 to 0-2 at the break with Richie Kealy and Rory Maguire sharp in the attack.
Kildare rallied to cut the deficit to the minimum but Meath added five more points.
Louth also progressed to the semi-finals, beating Offaly by 0-15 to 1-10 at Drogheda. The sides were level at half-time thanks to a Seán O'Neill goal for Offaly after 24 minutes. Louth exerted their superiority after the break with three points and deservedly won.
