Unruly scenes mainly involving spectators caused the Dublin senior football championship replay between Naomh Fionnbarra and St Anne's to be abandoned at O'Toole Park last night. Gardai were called to quell the disturbance.

Fionnbarra were leading 1-8 to 1-6 in the last five minutes when referee Sean Kennedy abandoned the match for safety reasons. Moments earlier Naomh Fionnbarra's goalkeeper Peter Fitzgerald was sent off.

Declan Bolger had just brought St Anne's back into contention with a late goal.
