In order to satisfy the demand for tickets, the GAA have confirmed Dublin will play their All-Ireland football quarter-final at Croke Park on Saturday, August 11th. The Nicky Rackard Cup final will precede it.
The next day sees Croke Park play host to an enticing triple-header. Munster football champions Kerry play their quarter-final, the second All-Ireland hurling semi-final (the winners of Cork and Waterford play Clare or Limerick) and a minor hurling quarter-final.
The football quarter-final draw takes place on Sunday week, July 29th, after the third round qualifiers are completed. It's an open draw with one exception: no provincial finalists can meet again.
Presuming the provincial champions progress, Dublin play Kerry in the All-Ireland semi-final with Tyrone and Connacht champions Sligo paired off on the other side.
