Dundalk Schools 3-11 Malahide CS 0-6:DUNDALK SCHOOLS proved much too strong for Malahide CS in the first round in Dundalk yesterday.

Despite wasting many chances, the hosts changed ends with a 2-4 to 0-4 lead after goals from Shane O'Hanlon and Conal McGeough.

Malahide accounted for the first two points of the match - scored by Aaron Carney and David Bannigan - and made another good start to the second period but the scores just didn't come for a side short a number of regulars.

The combination team pulled right away, and added a third goal late on through substitute Mark Butterly.
