IRELAND tight head prop Peter Clohessy, who came on as a replacement for Munster against Australia last Tuesday, is likely to make his debut for Queensland against Pontypridd next Tuesday.

Clohessy ended a 26 playing weeks' suspension last Monday and was called into the Munster squad on Monday night. He played the second half of the match against Australia in Thomond Park. He signed a contract in September to play for Queensland in the forthcoming Australian Championship and the Super 12 series.

However, Queensland are undertaking a tour in Britain in preparation for their season at home and he will link up with his new colleagues in Cardiff on Monday.

The current plan is that I will play with Queensland against Pontypridd on Tuesday," Clohessy confirmed. "I will then return home next week and then link up with Queensland again in England as I understand I am due to play against England A on December 13th in Huddersfield.
