REPRESENTATIVE MATCH/Leinster A 12 Munster A 30:MUNSTER TOOK the lead after two minutes at a blustery Donnybrook through outhalf Jeremy Manning, but Leinster rallied and pushed into a 5-3 lead when Shane Monahan finished off a good move involving Lansdowne backrow Ron Boucher, who kicked through for the electric winger to touch down.

Munster upped the tempo and a sustained offensive period on the Leinster line resulted in a penalty try, which Manning converted, for a 10-5 lead after 16 minutes.

Scrumhalf Ian Keatley released the in-form Fionn Carr who raced clear to score three minutes later and Keatley's conversion gave Leinster a 12-10 lead. The advantage was short-lived as Manning kicked his second penalty.

A Keith Earls try, again converted by Manning, on 55 minutes followed by scores by replacement Tommy O'Donnell (65 minutes) and Tomás O'Leary (78 minutes) secured a comfortable victory.
