WOMEN'S FOOTBALL: EMYVALE BECAME the first Monaghan club to take the All-Ireland club women's intermediate title, following a 3-6 to 1-2 win over Ballingeary-Inchigeela in Banagher yesterday.

On Saturday in Tuam, in the junior club All-Ireland championship, Kilmihil became the first Clare side to take that title after a 4-6 to 1-4 win over Knockmore of Mayo.
