France ... 35 Canada ... 3: France coach Bernard Laporte can't wait to tackle England after watching his side round off their winter Test series with this thrashing of Canada. The recent 30-10 French victory over South Africa was easily eclipsed by England's 53-3 demolition of the Springboks on Saturday.
And Laporte - whose side beat Clive Woodward's men on the way to this year's Six Nations championship - is already looking forward to February, when he will take his side to Twickenham to defend their title.
The French were rarely troubled by a Canada side that never mastered the wet conditions in the Stade de France. One try from David Bory in the first half and three in the second, including one from Damien Traille and two from Vincent Clerc stunned David Clark's men.
