England players will face possible disciplinary action if there is any repeat of the tickets saga that has blighted their preparations for Saturday's Six Nations clash with Wales.

Ben Cohen's personal international ticket allocation has been suspended for the rest of this season. And two other players - Bath pair Olly Barkley and Matt Stevens - are also set to receive a English RFU rap across the knuckles.

The issue revolves around players' tickets finding their way to unlicensed companies offering unofficial hospitality packages at England Test matches.

England coach Clive Woodward held clear-the-air talks with his squad on Monday, and last night said there would be no repeat.

"I've had a chat with the players about it, and they are under no illusions about what's happening at Twickenham in terms of the clampdown (on tickets). One or two of them made a mistake, and it won't happen again," said Woodward.

"At the moment, the penalty is loss of tickets. In future, it will go to a disciplinary situation. It will be no different to a disciplinary position in terms of players getting yellow and red cards.

"We've set impeccable standards on and off the pitch over a long period of time. I won't allow those standards to slip, and they have slipped."

FRANCE: Number eight Imanol Harinordoquy will miss France's Six Nations match against Scotland on Sunday at Murrayfield, team manager Jo Maso confirmed yesterday.

The 24-year-old injured his elbow playing with his club Pau in the French championship and his withdrawal means Olivier Magne will probably be recalled to the side which coach Bernard Laporte is due to announce today.

LEINSTER: Argentinian international Felipe Contepomi will travel to his native country tomorrow to coincide with President Mary McAleese's official three-day visit.

The 37-times capped outhalf was delighted with the opportunity: "I've been invited by President McAleese to visit Argentina in an effort to increase understanding between the two countries.

"I have a few days off, so I'm looking forward to it. It will be nice to see my friends and family. It's good also that I can try and help bring good relations between the two countries."

Contepomi received further good news yesterday when results of an MRI scan confirmed he did not tear a groin muscle last weekend against Connacht.

Contepomi was stretchered off at the Sportsground but the scan revealed that the groin was not torn and that he could be available when Leinster resume their Celtic League campaign on Friday week.
