Aston Villa need a win to help their European qualification chances. Defenders Steve Staunton (hamstring), Richard Scimeca (hamstring) and Gary Charles (knee) are out. League champions Arsenal are without Dutch striker Dennis Bergkamp. French midfielder Emmanuel Petit is doubtful but striker Ian Wright should be fit.

Relegated Barnsley's only absence is Peter Markstedt (neck) as Chris Morgan and George Hristov are available after suspension. Manchester United have lost their title but qualified for the European Cup with their confirmed second place finish. Striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaar is suspended and Roy Keane is still out injured.
Blackburn Rvs (6) v Newcastle United (13)
Midfielder Tim Sherwood (ankle) is out as Blackburn aim for the win that will secure their European competition entry for next season. Defender Darren Peacock (hamstring) and midfielder Robert Lee (thigh) are doubtful for Newcastle who should have defender Steve Howey (calf) available.
Chelsea (4) v Bolton Wanderers (17)
Chelsea are working hard to get Dennis Wise (toe), Frank Sinclair (calf) and Gianfranco Zola (groin) fit for this game to give them match practice before next Wednesday's European Cup Winners' Cup final. Strikers Dean Holdsworth and Bob Taylor are both aiming to recover from hamstring problems in a game where a win for Bolton would secure their premier league status.
Crystal Palace (20) v Sheffield Wed (14)
Relegated Crystal Palace have striker Matt Jansen (ankle) doubtful in an otherwise fully-fit squad for coach Brian Sparrow to choose from. Striker Andy Booth is suspended for Sheffield Wednesday who also have five players out with long term injuries.
Derby County (10) v Liverpool (3)
Croatian Igor Stimac and Italian Francesco Baiano are available for Derby but Italian Stefano Eranio (groin) is out. Deon Burton and Darryl Powell are on international duty with Jamaica. Midfielder Jamie Redknapp (knee) will be hoping to be fit and prove his fitness to England coach Glenn Hoddle. Paul Ince (ankle) is doubtful but Robbie Fowler (knee), Rob Jones (hernia), Jason McAteer (leg), Mark Wright (back) and Dominic Matteo (knee) are out.
Everton (18) v Coventry City (11) Everton need Bolton to lose or draw to stand any chance of staying up. Apart from six long-term absentees, striker John Spencer is doubtful. Striker Darren Huckerby (ankle) is Coventry City's only doubt after he injured himself in training.
Leeds United (5) v Wimbledon (16)
Leeds have qualified for European competition. They have defender Robert Molenaar (knee) and midfielder Bruno Ribeiro (groin) out. Wimbledon are likely to be without Jamaican international pair Robbie Earle and Marcus Gayle. Defender Dean Blackwall (jaw) is doubtful.
Tottenham Hotspur (15) v Southampton (12)
Tottenham have secured their premier league status after a 6-2 win against Wimbledon last Saturday. Andy Sinton and Clive Wilson are the only doubts as Jurgen Klinsmann plays his last game for the club. Defender John Beresford should be available for Southampton but striker Kevin Davies and midfielder David Hughes are sidelined.
West Ham United (9) v Leicester City (8)
Stan Lazaridis (knee), Rio Ferdinand (neck) and Andrew Impey (foot) are doubtful as West Ham must win to stand a chance of European qualification. John Hartson (suspended), John Moncur (ankle) and Tim Breaker (groin) are out. Leicester also need a win to boost their slim European hope and should have a fully-fit squad.
