Liverpool will be without Jamie Redknapp, who injured an ankle in a midweek reserve game and has not been able to train. Czech winger Vladimir Smicer should return to the squad after a four-game absence through injury, while Gerard Houllier must decide whether to reinstate Michael Owen after his precautionary rest.

Derby hope to have Craig Burley back after missing the last four Premiership games with a hamstring injury but manager Jim Smith expects him to return this weekend. His biggest concern is England Under-21 midfielder Seth Johnson who has a badly bruised instep.
Leicester skipper Matt Elliott should be back after missing a Scotland friendly match because his baby son was seriously ill. Alfie, who was born just four weeks ago, is improving and Elliott will play unless there is a last-minute emergency. Darren Eadie is back in training and should be fit while Gerry Taggart, although not 100 percent, should be available.
