Enticing will be entitled to contest all of the top sprint races this year after producing a scintillating performance on her seasonal bow at Bath yesterday.
Winner of the Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood last year, trainer William Haggas thought enough of the daughter of Superstar Leo to pitch her into Group One company as a juvenile in the Nunthorpe Stakes at York.
Things did not quite pan out right that day, but she destroyed her rivals yesterday by five lengths in the Listed European Breeders' Fund Lansdown Fillies Stakes.
Enticing, the 9 to 4 favourite, was always close to the pace under Jamie Spencer and accelerated away when encouraged for an effort, leaving Folga and Empress Jain trailing hopelessly.
Haggas' wife, Maureen, said: "She is quick, but she's born to be quick. She didn't really enjoy the soft ground in the Cornwallis Stakes on her final start and it did not go right in the Nunthorpe.
"She has been terrific over the winter. The trick with her is to just keep her relaxed."
