One to watch: Ian Dillon (flanker). Has been outstanding in Connacht's interprovincial campaign to date. Tough, aggressive with a voracious appetite for the nitty-gritty. Loves the physical confrontation.

Prospects: Great chance of making the play-offs if Eric Elwood and Conor McGuinness are rehabilitated fully. Have the three French sides at home which could make all the difference. Should enjoy another prominent campaign.

The Rest: Narbonne, boosted by the presence of French internationals Laurent Benezech and Gilles Bourguignon and Italian star Alessandro Stoica should pose the greatest threat. Perigeux and Racing Club de France should be eminently beatable in the Sportsground. Newport and Italian side Rovigo will hardly strike fear into Western hearts but little Caerphilly could prove a difficult away assignment.
