Bolton v Blackburn - Bolton utility man Ian Marshall has a hamstring injury and could be out for a month. Bo Hansen (ankle), Ricardo Gardner (ankle), Robbie Elliott (calf) and Dean Holdsworth (ankle) face late tests. Defender Paul Warhurst could miss out with a hamstring injury, and skipper Mike Whitlow faces a further two months on the sidelines after a stomach operation.

Blackburn midfielder Eyal Berkovic, on loan from Celtic, and striker Matt Jansen are pushing for places but Jason McAteer is struggling to face his former club because of a thigh injury, while Stig Bjornebye (knee) and Nathan Blake (thigh) are definitely out.

Leicester v Bristol City - Leicester's record signing Ade Akinbiyi is poised to return against his former club with Roberto Mancini, a target to become coach at Fiorentina next season, back home in Italy. There are injury doubts over Gerry Taggart and Andrew Impey as Leicester bid to reach the quarter-finals for the first time since 1982.

Bristol defender Mickey Bell has been struggling with a foot injury but the bruising is beginning to subside and he may be available.

Southampton v Tranmere - Southampton striker Kevin Davies has failed to recover from an ankle injury, but Moroccan international Hassan Kachloul is available after suspension. Romanian defender Dan Petrescu is cup-tied.

Tranmere will be at full strength, with no suspension or injury concerns following Tuesday night's defeat at Sheffield Wednesday.

Shaka Hislop has recovered from a knee injury and should be back in goal for West Ham, while fellow goalkeeper Craig Forrest, on-loan defenders Hannu Tihinen and Sebastien Schemmel, and midfielder Joe Cole (right) should have recovered from minor knocks.

Tottenham v Stockport - Darren Anderton (Achilles), Steve Carr (abdominal) and Chris Perry (calf) are out for Spurs but strikers Les Ferdinand and Steffen Iversen return to the squad after lengthy injury lay-offs. Both played 20 minutes of a reserve match in midweek without suffering a reaction.

Stockport's Finnish star Jarkko Wiss and goalkeeper Lee Jones are showing symptoms of the bug which sidelined Kevin Cooper and Ali Gibb. Leyton Maxwell is out with a hamstring injury, while Aaron Wilbraham is struggling to overcome an ankle knock. Defender Peter Clark will return after suspension.

Wycombe v Wimbledon - Wycombe have been boosted by the recovery of Sam Parkin, the fourth round hero against Wolves who has overcome a back injury, but leading scorer Andy Rammell is rated 5050 and needs a fitness test on a hamstring.

Dons midfielder Damien Francis has knee ligament damage and is likely to be on the sidelines for some time. Defender Alan Kimble is out with a shoulder injury.

Arsenal v Chelsea (1.0, Sky Sports 2) - Arsenal are without suspended duo Tony Adams and Ray Parlour, while Martin Keown is still absent with a medial ligament knee injury. Gilles Grimandi and Igors Stepanovs team up in central defence. Silvinho is sidelined by a calf injury and Ashley Cole continues to deputise. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger does not deny he is still thinking about resting top-scorer Thierry Henry.

Chelsea may be boosted by the return of cup specialist Gustavo Poyet, who has been out with a hamstring problem in recent weeks. Graeme Le Saux (hip) and Mario Melchiot, who jarred his leg in training, are likely to miss out.

Manchester City hope Steve Howey can soldier on despite a hairline fracture in a toe. City are missing nine players through injury, suspension and ineligibility, including the banned Jeff Whitley and cup-tied duo Egil Ostenstad and Carlo Nash.
