Under-21 Hurling All-Ireland Semi-finals/Tipperary 5-19 Antrim 0-7: Tipperary recorded a facile win over Antrim at Parnell Park on Saturday to advance to the All-Ireland under-21 hurling final.
The warning signs were there from as early as the fifth minute when Tipperary sent over four scores without reply, with senior panellist James Woodlock penetrating the Antrim defence with some pacy runs from midfield.
Ryan O'Dwyer started the scoring for them with Darragh Egan, Stephen Lillis and Darragh Hickey following suit soon after. Joey Scullion eventually opened Antrim's account but the forwards, starved of any meaningful possession, were always struggling.
Although Brendan McDermott cut the arrears to five points - his side's only point from play in the first half - Tipperary then pounced for their first goal of the game, on 23 minutes, from Niall Teehan.
Tipperary unloaded their bench to good effect after the break with both Danny O'Hanlon and David Sheppard among the goals in a one-sided second half.
