The Executive Committee of the FAI has decided to move the final of the Harp Lager Cup final to Monday, the May 6th, at Lansdowne Road. If, with a replay is necessary it will scheduled to take place at the same venue on the following Sunday.

The match had originally been intended to go ahead on Sunday, May 5th, but the association decided to rethink the timing of the game on the basis that that Sunday will mark the conclusion of the Premier Division campaign in England with at least one, and possibly two, games, due to be televised live by Sky Sports in the afternoon.
