GAELIC GAMES:Brian Farrell returns from suspension to the Meath team for Sunday's Leinster quarter-final replay against Dublin at Croke Park. He replaces Peter Curran in the selection that still has no place for Cian Ward whose flawless five points from placed balls in the closing 20 minutes of the drawn match were instrumental in giving the team a second chance, writes Seán Moran,GAA Correspondent

Farrell is named at left corner forward and his return means that Graham Geraghty switches to the half forward line.

In hurling, Paul Flynn is back in the Waterford starting line-up for Sunday's Munster semi-final against Cork in Thurles. The former All Star missed much of the National League because of injury but returns for the county's first championship match in the only change to the line-up that won April's league final against Kilkenny.

Flynn comes in for Shane Walsh and is named at full forward but as usual with Waterford the announced team is laid out in fairly random order.

Aidan Kearney, named at left-wing back but likely to start at right-corner back where he played with distinction in the National League final, is one of only two championship newcomers.

Stephen Molumphy, named at centrefield but who started against Kilkenny at left-wing forward, is the other.

Manager Justin McCarthy had a full pick and the only injury concern in recent weeks, centre back Ken McGrath, has fully recovered.

This will be the seventh meeting of the counties in six seasons. Cork have had the edge with four wins, including last year's dramatic All-Ireland semi-final.

Meanwhile, Tyrone make three changes for Sunday's Ulster semi-final against National Football League winners Donegal in Clones. All changes are in the attack where manager Mickey Harte has endured wretched luck with injuries over the past 12 months.

Tommy McGuigan and Niall Gormley, both of whom had excellent debuts in the first round against Fermanagh, had already been ruled by injury and they have been joined by Stephen O'Neill, who won't start Sunday's match because of a knee injury but has been named on the replacements bench.

A knee injury also rules out Ger Cavlan, who had been cleared to play after incurring a club suspension but who will play no part in this weekend's match.

Into the team come Raymond Mulgrew, Enda McGinley, both of whom have recovered from injury, and Owen Mulligan. McGinley came on the last day for Ryan Mellon, who reverts to the bench this time, having like Cavlan picked up a four-week suspension in a club match.

Mulligan replaces Gormley and Mulgrew comes in for McGuigan, whose brother Brian is feared set to miss a second successive championship because of injury.

Louth have named an unchanged team for their Leinster semi-final against Wexford in Croke Park. The side that hammered Wicklow gets the go-ahead from manager Eamonn McEneaney, which means that John O'Brien and JP Rooney, who were both late inclusions for the Wicklow match are named from the start.

Finally Eamonn O'Hara has been named as left-half forward on the Sligo team to play Roscommon in Sunday's Connacht football semi-final at Hyde Park.

O'Hara, who is on a medical course in Dublin, trained in the capital last night and is expected to have recovered from a hamstring injury in time for the match. Philip Gallagher has been named at full forward with David Kelly and Adrian Marren flanking the Drumcliffe Rosses Point clubman.
