Poor finishing from the home side and the efficiency in front of goal of Dublin's Faughs were decisive at Dundalk yesterday.
Faughs led 0-6 to 0-5 at the break with Aongus O'Grady hooking their best goal chance wide a minute from the interval.
Faughs never dominated, but when Moninne's Michael McNamara struck two 20-metre frees wide in the final minutes, they quickly wrapped it up with four points.
