Setanta Cup/Derry City v Shelbourne and Glentoran v Linfield: Shelbourne travel to the Brandywell for tonight's clash with Derry City on the back of a stunning win over Glentoran a week ago and, crucially, Pat Fenlon's free-scoring side make the trip suspension and injury free.
Last year's beaten finalists signalled their intent for the season ahead at Tolka Park where striker Glen Crowe stole the show with a fine brace on a night the Dublin club thrilled their supporters with an eye-catching all-round performance.
Tonight, Crowe could be joined up front by Jason Byrne who returns from suspension.
"I've watched the tape of Derry's drawn game with Linfield and they certainly played well," says Fenlon. "Linfield were under pressure early in the game so we're expecting Derry to make a quick start which we'll have to match."
Fenlon, then, must decide whether to accommodate Byrne, scorer of a hat-trick in a recent friendly win over Kilkenny, from the start. Gary O'Neill, who tormented the Glentoran defence alongside Crowe, is the one most likely to make way if he does.
Pat McCourt (groin) is the home's side's main concern and manager Stephen Kenny is unlikely to risk the attacker, who impressed against Linfield.
Kevin Deery must recover from an ankle injury while Mark McChrystal misses out because of his involvement with the Northern Ireland under-21 squad.
Glentoran and Linfield meet at The Oval in the night's other Group 2 game. Smarting from their Dublin defeat, Glentoran bounced back at the weekend to beat Institute 3-1 and, in the process, hand new manager Paul Millar his first win with the club.
Millar is likely to be without goalkeeper Elliott Morris (shoulder). Ian Mannus, brother of Linfield goalkeeper Alan, is again standing by, having played at the weekend.
David Jeffries, the Linfield boss, has fit-again duo Noel Bailie and Tim Mouncey available but is without striker Peter Thompson who is named in Lawrie Sanchez's Northern Ireland squad for tomorrow's friendly with Estonia.
