AIRTRICITY LEAGUE PREVIEW:SLIGO ROVERS at full strength are up there with the best sides in the league, stressed Bohemians manager Pat Fenlon ahead of the teams clashing at Dalymount Park tonight.
Having narrowly beaten TNS in their Champions League qualifier on Tuesday, Bohemians continue their hectic schedule with a friendly against Mick McCarthy’s Wolves tomorrow before travelling to Wales for the second leg with TNS on Tuesday.
“Sligo gave us two very tough games already this season, including a draw here in Dalymount, and we will need to be at our best in order to take the points tonight,” said Fenlon.
“I think Sligo will be there or thereabouts at the top of the league when things are down for decision,” added Fenlon.
Defender Steven Gray and winger Anto Murphy remain out with Achilles tendon problems, while young striker Aaron Greene (ankle) is also unlikely to feature.
Right winger Gareth McGlynn returns from the suspension that ruled him out of the TNS game.
Sligo have midfielder Danny Ventre returning from suspension, but remain without injured pair, defender Mauro Almeida and striker Matthew Blinkhorn.
Bottom of the table Bray Wanderers continue without injured winger Richie Baker for their trip to UCD. Midfielder Chris Shields should be fit despite a toe injury. New loan signing from Derby County, Graham Kelly, comes into the squad.
UCD, bidding to end a run of four straight league defeats, hope to welcome back playmaker Greg Bolger following a knee injury.
Striker David McMillan remains out long-term, while Seán Harding, Brian Shortall and Chris Mulhall are also out injured.
