The ex-Tottenham player was a late withdrawal from the squad because his girlfriend is expecting the couple's first child this weekend.

Denis Behan is expected to fill in for Fenn though manager Damien Richardson's other option is to play Billy Woods wide on the right and push young Roy O'Donovan up front with John O'Flynn.

Cork held their final training session at the match venue last night and were boosted by the news that Ireland under-21 international Liam Kearney has been passed fit. Kearney's training schedule had been curtailed for the last few days because of an ankle injury.

"I think my team has a fair idea of what to expect tonight and if our concentration levels are good from start to finish then I think we can get the results we all want. We can have no fear, no doubts, and no uncertainty about what we are about tonight and that's the essence of the message I will be trying to get across in the dressingroom before kick-off," said Richardson.

The other major concern for the league leaders will be the heat and humidity as Panavezys is experiencing a heat wave and humidity at match time will be over 70 per cent.

Ekranas, 12 points clear of defending champions Kanuas in the national first division, have lost just once in 20 games.

They have three full internationals but one of them, defensive midfielder Aurimas Kucysis ruled out with a knee injury.
