NFL DIVISION THREE/Sligo 0-14 Fermanagh 0-17:FERMANAGH ARE still riding high at the top of the table after this impressive three-point win over relegation-threatened Sligo at Markievicz Park yesterday.
Sligo trailed by just 0-9 to 0-6 at the interval. But Fermanagh were a transformed side in the second half running Sligo ragged with free-flowing football.
Forwards Matt Keenan and Damien Kelly masterminded their team's path to victory with defenders Ryan McCluskey at full back and Shane Goan at right-corner back standing out in a rock -solid defence. Points by Mark Breheny and Dermot McTernan inside a minute at the start of the second half gave the Yeatsmen some hope but they failed to raise a flag for 15 minutes as the tabletoppers raced into a five-point lead.
