With this Antrim senior football final in injury time at Casement Park, for no apparent reason the scene erupted with fists flying as players, officials, substitutes and spectators fought a pitched battle on the field for up to five minutes.
Cargin won a disappointing match against a St Paul's team which shot 13 wides.
With midfield control, Cargin raced into a three-point lead after 15 minutes and were ahead by 0-5 to 0-1 at the break. Sheeny McQuillan increased the margin two minutes after the resumption and the holders never looked likely to lose their title.
