PBC Cork 22 Glenstal Abbey 22:PBC CORK needed a couple of late tries from number eight John Fitzgerald, both converted by full-back Steve Dinan, to force a draw with Glenstal Abbey in a thrilling Munster Schools Senior Cup quarter-final at Cork IT yesterday.

Glenstal looked to be heading for a shock win, when they led by 22-8 after a second Ian Kenny try, converted by outhalf Luke Bradley, in the 56th minute, but Pres stormed back.

Fitzgerald was driven over by the forwards for his first try moments later and he repeated the trick three minutes from the end of regulation time to ensure a replay.

Glenstal led 12-5 at half-time following tries from centres Andrew Boland and Kenny, Bradley landing a conversion, after Pres had jumped in front with a Dinan try.
